Advanced Telecom Services Provides Canadian 900 Service through Triton Telecom
Calgary, Alberta, Canada -- Advanced Telecom Services,
and its subsidiary Spark Network Services, Inc. has announced
that it has added Triton Telecom as a second provider of
900 number services in Canada.
Triton's 900 number solution offers a powerful information delivery tool that opens a new avenue of doing business to both corporate and government clients. Triton's 900 number service is directly linked to its proven billing and collections capabilities.
"With Telus announcing that it will depart the Canadian 900 number business some time in 2008, it became obvious to us that we needed another 900 number provider in addition to Bell Canada," said Bob Bentz, director of marketing at Advanced Telecom Services. "We are very excited to have established a relationship with Triton to give us another option for 900 numbers in Canada. We will maintain our 900 number billing relationship with Bell Canada as well. The competition is a good thing."
Advanced Telecom Services is an IVR service bureau with offices in the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland and Czech Republic. It has been providing 900 number service in Canada since Canada began offering the service in 1993. In fact, Bentz was part of the original industry group that helped establish the 900 number rules and regulations in Canada. Over the past fifteen years, Advanced Telecom Services has worked with Maritime Telephone & Telegraph, BC Telus, Bell Canada, and now Triton Telecom as its 900 number carrier.
Spark Network Services, a division of Advanced Telecom Services, provides its MatchLink IVR and online dating products to radio stations and newspapers throughout Canada and the United States. Some of its radio station customers have already been moved to the Triton Telecom 900 number platform
