El Paso is King of Text Messaging

If you’re into text messaging, the place to be is El Paso, Texas, according to a study by Scarborough Research.

Scarborough analyzed the cities where the most people text message and concluded that El Paso, with 57% of its adult residents considered to be avid texters, was tops in the USA.

Salt Lake City, Dallas, and Memphis were tied for second most who live by the text with 55%.

The areas where people are least likely to use text messaging?  Grand Rapids-Kalamazoo-Battle Creek, Michigan with only 35% of adults hitting the letters on their cell phone followed by Fort Myers-Naples, Florida and Charleston-Huntington, West Virginia with 36%.
