23% of all US mobile subscribers say they have been exposed to advertising

23% of Americans have received mobile ads.

 on their mobile phones, according to a March 2008 study by Neilsen Mobile.

Teens ages 13-17 wer the most likely age segment to recall seeing mobile ads as 46% of them recalled seeing a mobile advertisement compared to 29% of the general populace.

Of Asian-Americans, 42% recalled seeing a mobile advertisement–highest among all ethnic groups.  African-Americans were second with 40% having seen a mobile advertisement.

26% of the Americans who recalled seeing a mobile advertisement responded to that advertising.  9% of the group, have used a click-to-call from the mobile ad to contact the advertisement’s sponsor.
