New Logos for WebFriends

WebFriends is our online dating brand that we market to newspapers.  An online dating site for newspapers can generate significant additional revenue and be a great community builder for a media web site.

The current WebFriends logo had been used for many years and it was due for an upgrade.  “We believe the new WebFriends logo is indicative of a more modern look that better denotes the online dating industry for the 2010′s,” said Bob Bentz, president of Advanced Telecom Services.  “No doubt that our newspaper customers will be very pleased with the new look that shows how traditional newspapers are evolving into the digital era.”

Why Develop Apps for just iPhones?

It is always surprising when I see companies developing mobile apps for some phones and not for others!  Sure, there is greater uptake for most apps on iPhones than on Blackberry’s, but why not serve the entire market?

At Advanced Telecom Services, our mobile apps development team provides apps for all phones, not just Apple.  And, all of our development is done right here in the USA.

Stereo Retailer Drives Sales with 84444.com

mobile marketing stereos

Darrel Dickinson, Stereo Designs

“When I put a message on my sign outside or my newspaper ad I get text responses. Customers come into the store with their phones open to the text message and want the special offer,” said Darrell Dickinson at Stereo Designs in Ardmore, Oklahoma, in a story told to industry web site 12 Volt News.

Dickinson has discovered the power of mobile marketing for retail stores like his. With a young male demo, it couldn’t be a better targeted way to reach his customers who are most likely to be buyers.

The Ardmore, Oklahoma store has already directly attributed at least one sale to the mobile marketing. One morning, Dickinson decided to give away some koozies that were gathering dust in the back room of his store via a text message promotion. 35 customers came into the store that day with the text message promotion and one bought a radio.

Thanks for the publicity 12 Volt!
