Position: Regional Sales Manager
Location: Home Based
Description: Spark Network Services , a division of Advanced Telecom Services is seeking a regional sales manager to sell its PromoTXT cell phone text messaging suite of products to radio stations and other media markets. Regional Sales Manager will work from a home based location or in the company's offices in suburban Chicago or suburban Philadelphia. This position will report directly to the co-owner and Director of Marketing and Sales.
Key responsibilities of the position include: developing and implementing effective strategies targeted at increasing sales of the Spark and AdvancedTele.com product lines; delivering effective product proposals and presentations to media companies; building and developing relationships with current and future affiliates; participating in national trade shows to promote our products; maintain affiliate prospect lists; maintain knowledge on our product line and industry trends through contacts with the media markets.
Requirements: Should have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of affiliate sales or direct radio or television sales experience. Must have a proven track record of successfully meeting sales objectives and have the ability to work most of the day in an unsupervised mode. PC skills, excellent verbal and written communication are required. Must have management skills, leadership skills, and be a proven self starter with the commitment and discipline to work in a home office environment. Successful candidate must have the ability to travel about six days per month.
