Ringingphone Announces Ringtones for Verizon Customers
Philadelphia, PA - June 30, 2005 -- Ringingphone.com, one of the pioneers in North American ringtones, is pleased to announce that it has become the first independent ringtone provider to permit Verizon customers to access its database of thousands of unique ringtones and wallpapers.
This is being done through a unique proprietary technology that has pushed Ringingphone to the forefront of the ringtone industry. It is believed that Ringingphone is the only independent ringtone provider in North America to provide ringtones to Verizon customers.
"This is obviously huge news for us," said Bob Bentz, director of marketing at Ringingphone. "It gives us a unique competitive advantage in the marketplace. Verizon customers have waited too long to be able to access some of the tremendous mobile content that exists in the marketplace today."
Bentz added, however, that not all Verizon users will be able to participate initially. Only selected phones manufactured by UTStarcom, Audiovox, Kyocera, LG, Motorola, and Samsung are eligible for its ringtones and cellular wallpapers.
