Voice Broadcast
Voice broadcasting allows the marketer to send hundreds of simultaneous outbound automated phone calls to an opt-in audience. It is a mass communication technique like no other. 
With voice broadcast, your brand initiates the outbound phone call. The recipient is able to interact with the pre-recorded message by pressing touch tones on the telephone keypad in the same way as our inbound interactive voice response (IVR) services. If needed, calls can be switched to a live operator for up-sells or order taking.

Telemarketing laws require that any outbound voice broadcast calls be matched to the federal “Do Not Call” list prior to making the call. Therefore, it is mandatory that your brand have an existing relationship with the recipient of the call.
There are, however, some exceptions to this rule. Non-profit organizations, for example, can make fundraising calls to a general telemarketing list. In addition, political candidates can use automated voice broadcast robo calls without prior permission for “get out the vote” (GOTV) campaigns. A study by researchers at the University of Michigan found that those contacted by political voice broadcast robo call messages were 9% more likely to have voted in the 2006 election.
