Gold Sponsor of World Telemedia Show 2011

Amsterdam, The Netherlands -- Advanced Telecom Services will be a Gold Sponsor of the World Telemedia 2011 show in Amsterdam, October 12-14, 2011.  This marks the fourth consecutive year that Advanced Telecom Services has been a major sponsor of the World Telemedia event.

Over 400 of the most experienced providers of telemedia services will converge on Amsterdam for the event.  Telemedia providers from all over Europe and the rest of the world will meet to discuss their successful applications in merging the media with interactive telephone.  For the first time ever, this year’s annual convention of telemedia experts from around the world has incorporated the World Intertainment event as well.

Bentz Speaks on Custom QR Codes

The show will host an array of conferences and workshops that will be sure to stimulate new ideas in the industry.  Advanced Telecom Services’ President Bob Bentz will have two speaking engagements at the event.

On Friday, at 14:00, at the closing seminar of the show, Bentz will be part of a four member panel discussing “Capitalizing on Domestic and International Network Capabilities.”  For many years now, European telemedia operators have been expanding their clients’ markets by using the IVR and premium rate solutions provided by Advanced Telecom Services in the United States and Canada.

On Thursday, at 15:30, Bentz will present “Hip to Be Square: A Look at Custom QR Codes.”  Bentz will discuss the use of QR Codes in the United States and around the world and will give best practices and case studies concerning success stories that Advanced Telecom Services has had with its Custom QR Code solution.

Advanced Telecom Services has also provided a Custom QR Code for the World Telemedia Show itself.  Delegates that scan the QR Code will have the complete program agenda on their cell phone as well as a handy map of the downtown Amsterdam area.  This map will surely come in handy in guiding the attendees to the parties that traditionally stretch late into the night at World Telemedia events.
